Bonfire

Not having a bonfire is really not all that big of a deal, I mean a bonfire is a pile of wood that you burn. It's really nothing but it did give all the kids something to do and celebrate their homecoming. It was a way to have everyone get together and talk and have fun and spend time together without getting into any big trouble. The bonfires were fun but now they are gone so we all should think of some new things to put in place of the bonfire. I mean nothing will ever take the place of a bonfire but it can help to get everyone's mind off of not having one and to get a new tradition going. So some things I was thinking about having instead of the bonfire would be the parade, like we are having tomorrow. A parade would be great because everyone gets together and has fun and listens to the band and makes floats and everything it is very similar to a bonfire except no fire. Another idea could be to have a mud and shaving cream fight with all the kids in high school at the rodeo grounds. That would be awesome to have a shaving cream and mud fight. Everyone would have so much fun. Yes, you will get dirty but it will be fun and it may stay with everyone and be a Bobcat tradition.
